Art Meets Outreach

The Studio model is all about the details.  Ensuring proper fit, finding the best build for the riders style and goals, and finding the aesthetic that fits the riders taste and personality. This is evident in the bikes that roll out of our doors.

During the Richmond Cycling Corp's Legacy2020 event 23 hand painted frames were sold at auction.  The proceeds from the event went to the nonprofit and towards their mission to providing a means and method for the youth of East End Richmond to get out of Public Housing. Think art meets outreach.

Here at the Studio we have had the great honor to build a select few of these frames.  The most recent build is for long time supporter and all around great guy Dave Carleton. Dave and his wife Kristin won the frame painted by Steve Hedberg, a stunning sky blue frame with a detailed city skyline.

Dave wanted a build that would highlight the frames detailed paint, without distracting from said details.  He was also looking for a bike capable of competing at Bryan Park Training Series, and Monstercross.  We accomplished just that.
